Increase Your Libido: What Is a Natural Sex Enhancer

Published October 28th, 2019 by Blog Team

In the film Super Size Me, Morgan Spurlock, the documentarian, engages in a 30-day McDonald's-only diet.

He gains weight, endures mood swings, and generally feels unwell. Most interestingly, he reported a reduced sex drive

Science backs up Spurlock's case. Despite exercising regularly, if you eat a high-fat diet from fast-food restaurants, you may notice problems performing sexually. Fast food compromises endothelial function. And endothelial dysfunction contributes to erectile dysfunction

What you put into your body can impair or enhance its natural functions, including sexual function.

When you find a natural sex enhancer, you've found pure gold. It can lead to better sex with less consequence than the medical treatments of today.

What Causes a Low Libido?

To understand the solution, you need to understand the problem.

Anything from too much stress to genuine medical conditions can cause low libido. If at any point that you feel you have more than just a lack of desire, visit your medical doctor. You may have a medical doctor.

A therapist or doctor will help you discover if you truly have a medical problem. Once you can pinpoint the reason for a low sex drive, you can attack it full force.

For example, TDS is a syndrome that accompanies old age and results in lower levels of testosterone. The medical community is attempting to remedy this problem with direct forms of testosterone in the form of gels, oral medications, and shots.

These medications come with side effects, however. ranging from acne or oily skin to decreased testicle size to increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Hormones are powerful solutions with intense side effects.

You do not need to hang your head in despair knowing that medical treatments will lead to unhealthy side effects. Natural sex enhancers with little to no consequence do exist.

What is Natural Sex Enhancer?

A natural sex enhancer is any method or product that enhances sexual experience naturally rather than chemically or medically. For example, pills with herbs qualify as a natural sex enhancer due to a magic combination of herbs proven to enhance sex drive, especially for those men suffering from testosterone deficiency syndrome (TDS).

Modern medicine will treat just one problem typically, like erectile dysfunction. And unfortunately, these same medical treatments will often lead to unpleasant side effects.

Natural sex enhancers have fewer consequences, and many have positive side effects. They often will lead to a healthy lifestyle overall. Best of all, unlike medicine prescribed by a doctor, you can combine these enhancers with only one effect: a healthier you.

Physical and Relational Wellness

Sleep affects your sex drive and function. A study conducted at the University of Chicago revealed that men in the study who received less sleep had lower testosterone levels in the morning.

When you sleep, your body works. So a lack of sleep will deprive your body of the opportunity to repair cells and, in this case, build testosterone.

Relational wellness affects sex drive as well. The body functions as a whole, all parts connecting to each other. So if you're not emotionally well, if you're angry with your spouse or partner, you will not be able to perform sexually.

Take time to build the relationship. Send texts throughout the day or practice little touches when you see that person. Building the relationship through thoughtful gestures and actions can lead to better sex.

Pay attention to your self-image. If you do not feel good about yourself, you won't feel good in general, and you won't want sex. Start an exercise regime and eat quality, fresh foods to improve your self-image.

What Goes In Must Come Out

What you eat matters to your sexual function. A combination of a healthy lifestyle along with these tips can make a difference in your sex life. Little tweaks such as these combined can make a big effect.

For example, one glass of wine at night can help you relax and get in the mood. It's a natural sex enhancer with other benefits.

But more than a glass of wine can sabotage your efforts. One glass will relax you and relieve stress, but much alcohol can negatively affect erectile function.

Gingko Biloba is a natural herb that helps with sexual dysfunction as well. Sometimes sexual dysfunction results from medication treating another condition. Antidepressants have this reputation

Studies have shown that daily doses of 60 to 120 mg of Gingko Biloba reduces sexual dysfunction caused by antidepressants.

Furthermore, Ginkgo Biloba generally positively affected all four phases of sexual response from the desired stage to excitement (where erections occur) to orgasm and resolution. Seventy-six percent of the male participants in this study responded positively.

If you have a real problem, you will attempt to hit the problem from all the angles, including aphrodisiacs. However, beware of the myths and the truths regarding sex-drive enhancing foods. Not every legend is true.

For example, ancient myths claimed that some foods that looked like genitalia would lead to improved sex drive, including oysters.

Ironically, oysters do improve sex drive if only for the fact that they have a high level of zinc. Many people have a zinc-deprived diet, so eating the oysters simply makes them healthier and generally speaking increases an individual's sex drive.

Mindfulness

Many practice yoga just to stretch and relax. A study conducted in 2010 implies an increased sexual function in men who practice yoga.

The study had 65 men ranging in age from 24 to 60 enroll in a yoga camp and fill out a questionnaire after 12 sessions of yoga.

The questionnaire indicated that for the majority of the men, sex improved. Furthermore, the men indicated improvement in all of the domains of sexual function mentioned which included desire, intercourse satisfaction, performance, confidence, partner synchronization, erection, ejaculatory control, and orgasm.

Take time to practice mindfulness. Yoga teaches individuals to focus on a particular pose while breathing in a particular rhythm.

In the same way, when you're engaging in foreplay, be mindful of what you're doing and how you feel. Avoid the practice of thinking ahead to what's happening later in the day or wondering what the score is of the game you're missing.
