Male Enhancement: What Are the Best Options in 2019?

Published December 3rd, 2018 by Blog Team

Male enhancement can change your life for the better. Make sure you get the right fix by reading this guide to the best options in 2019.

Feeling self-conscious about what your genitals have to offer? Turns out, your lacking self-image can affect your sexual performance.

In a study of 367 male military personnel under the age of 40, those who were most satisfied with their genital self-image had decreased sexual anxiety--and better performance in bed.

So, what's a guy to do?

One option is male enhancement. And with all the available products on the market, the real question is which one actually works (safely).

Here, we're breaking down everything you need to know about your available male enhancement options, and which is the best choice for you.

What Are Your Male Enhancement Options?

First, let's get clear on something: most men don't actually have a small penis. They just think they do.

The average self-reported penis size is about 5.6 inches. Technically, a penis is not considered small unless it measures less than 3 inches when erect. As a significant portion of the penis is located within the body, there is no predictable relationship between the length of a flaccid or erect penis.

So, your penis can actually be longer when erect, and you can't assume that a guy with a short penis won't get a big erection.

Here's the problem: according to one study of 92 patients who complained of a small penis, almost all of them had overestimated the average penis size, and not one of them actually had a small penis.

The real kicker? Most women don't actually care about length. A guy with a smaller penis and better technique wins out over an anaconda any day of the week.

With all of that in mind, if you feel like male enhancement would help boost your overall confidence, here are your available options.

Surgery

One of the more permanent enhancement options is surgery.

As previously noted, a significant portion of the penis is located within the body. The basic premise of surgery is to get more of the penis to show outside the body.

To do this, a surgeon will cut ligaments at the base. Men will have to wear an extension device after the surgery to keep the penis from retracting.

While this does add length, researchers found these methods to be dangerous and contain an unacceptably high rate of complications

It's also expensive: a procedure like this will cost you somewhere around $10,000.

Extension Device

There are also extension devices, which basically remove the surgical element and use the device alone.

These devices work by pulling your penis outward, stretching the ligaments and forcing cell division. You would need to wear the device for about six hours a day.

The trick with extension devices is that they run the risk of damaging the ligaments over time, which can cause an erect penis to become unstable.

Pumps

Another non-surgical option is vacuum pumps.

If you're treating erectile dysfunction as well as trying to lengthen your penis, you may have encountered devices like this before, as they're sometimes used for erectile dysfunction.

The premise is simple: when you get an erection, there's increased blood flow to the penis. So, by encouraging increased blood flow to the genitals, pumps can make your penis appear larger temporarily.

The key word is temporary. There are also serious risks--using a pump too long or too often can damage the elastic tissue in the penis, which can make erections less firm.

Pills and Dietary Supplements

Then, there are pills and dietary supplements.

The idea behind both is that instead of working directly on genitalia with devices that could damage the muscle tissue, pills and dietary supplements instead supply the body with the vitamins, minerals, or hormones needed to encourage growth.

Dietary supplements or foods for erectile dysfunction have been called dangerous by the FDA, as they may contain ingredients used in drugs like Viagra.

The ingredients themselves aren't dangerous. The problem is that those ingredients may not be disclosed, and because you're consuming them in food instead of medication, it's much more difficult to control your dosage, increasing the risk of dangerous side effects.

If you had to choose between the two, pills or supplements in pill form are the safer option, as you'll know exactly what ingredients are used and what dosage you're taking.

Exercises and Stretching

Finally, there are exercises and stretches that claim to improve length.

Exercises work on the same basic premise as a pump--a hand-over-hand motion pushing blood flow from the base to the head of the penis. Stretching, on the other hand, usually makes use of an extension device.

There's no scientific proof that either of these options works and exercises can lead to scar formation over time.

What's the Best Choice for Male Enhancement?

So, what's your best option for male enhancement?

Having investigated all your options, the best choice is pills or supplements in pill form...with a few conditions.

First, you shouldn't take any medication without supervision by a doctor. A professional can help you balance any preexisting health conditions and advise you on the safest option.

Second, you should do your homework on any medication before you start taking it. There are a lot of pills out there that claim to be miracle drugs but in fact contain subpar or downright unsafe ingredients.

Ideally, any drug you try should have successful, legitimate medical studies to its name which prove efficacy and safety.

Take our supplement, for example. We're proud to say that we use ingredients proven effective in published medical studies because your safety is our foremost concern.
